Social Influence

Like it or not, we are being influenced each and every day. The images on this page are examples of efforts to influence us that exist in our everyday environment. The message is that we must protect ourselves from the messages we allow to enter into our heads.

Below is an example of the difference in cigarette advertising in Australia (left) vs. USA (right). The Australian packaging is much clearer about the health hazards related to smoking: why is that?
